Design Overview

Heavy duty high speed commercial 5.4m rigid inflatable boat with composite hull,
Hypalon inflatable collar, and aluminium topside fabrications.

The craft features crew seating for two (2) persons aft, inboard diesel stern drive propulsion and a four (4) point lifting arrangement. The craft is specifically designed for all weather rapid deployment from a mother vessel for a variety of applications including boarding & interception, search and rescue, patrol & general workboat duties. MST craft are well proven with craft in commercial service world-wide.

They are built in accordance with the MCA Code of Practice for the Safety of Small Workboats & Pilot Boats. Load bearing structures are designed with the aid of computer simulated finite element analysis to ensure sufficient strength and tested where applicable. All topside fabrications are bolted so as to allow easy removal for servicing and maintenance purposes and utilise sealing gaskets.
